Goodwill Industries
75 Bills Boulevard, Martinsville, IN (765) 349-0009. They are now accepting computers and other electronics for free recycling at all retail/donation locations in central Indiana.
NuGenesis, Inc:
1611 Hancel Parkway, Mooresville, 800-487-1010. Accepts appliances and old electronics for recycling; fees apply. Call for information.
Adkins Recycling:
1010 N. Main St, Martinsville, 765-342-0841. E-cycling: Cell Phones w/ battery, Complete PC Towers & Laptops, Batteries, Routers, Hubs, Modems, Televisions, etc. Aluminum & Steel. Accepts some quantities of used motor oil. (Pays for many items)
Abitibi PaperRetriever Program:
Abitibi has approximately 30 bright green and yellow paper recycling bins at various sites around the county—mostly at churches and schools. Find information at www.paperretriever.com
Lowe's:
Accepts plastic plant trays, pots, and tags from previous purchases.
LaFary’s:
2270 Voyles Rd, Martinsville, 317-341-0700. Buys metals, will also accept used car batteries and used motor oil. Accepts used tires for a fee.
Morgan County Habitat for Humanity Restore:
39 West Pike St.; Martinsville, 765-349-9003. 9:00-4:00 on Wednesday thru Friday and 9:00-2:00 Saturday. Accepts furniture, appliances in good working condition, kitchen and bathroom fixtures and counter tops, small household appliances, general household items, and building materials will be sold.
Ray’s Trash Service, Inc.:
3859 East US Highway 40, Clayton, Indiana, 46118, 800-531-6752. Offers curbside pick-up to Northern Morgan County; Accepts glass bottle and jars, newspapers, cans, and plastic containers #1 through #7.
SCI REMC and Morgan County Public Library:
Located at REMC: 300 Morton Avenue and the Morgan County Library: Jefferson Street, both in Martinsville. They accept the new energy-efficient CFL light bulbs. REMC accepts Cell Phones also. 342-3344
